This painting is of a location called Shoal Bay, at Port Stephens in New South Wales, Australia.

I was attracted to the scene by the sail boats and the beautiful sunset. This demonstration covers techniques on how to paint boats, reflections, sunsets, and water with watercolor.

The demonstration is divided into six video segments which can be seen below and on the pages that follow.  The video runs for about 60 minutes (10 minutes per segment) so get a coffee and sit back and enjoy or look at  each segment after a break.

I have tried to break the segments up at a logical point but one was quite long and had to be split into part one and part two.

By necessity (download speed and YouTube) the video quality is not as good as the original but should still be of value to those interested in this area of watercolor painting.

In the future I will be making the DVD available for sale if anyone is interested.

Happy painting!
